Scholarship Fund

If you recall, I proposed that Blue Knights International create a scholarship fund for family members of Blue
Knights. I was appointed the Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee, and the Committee Members were
Ronnie Young (Past Int'l President), Russ Harper (Int'l Treasurer), and Brian Gadd (MWRC Int'l Rep). The
proposal called for 5 scholarships ($1000 USD), and for International to provide the funding annually as a
way to give back to the membership. Last week the proposal was unanimously approved by the International
Board, and the funding was secured via proposal submitted by me last year. Please forward the scholarship
application, and guidelines to the membership. I will ask that Shawn add the paperwork to the conference
web site.

Subject: update on Dark Blue Leather Vests

Conference Reps,

Please pass this along to your membership.

For those that have a dark blue vest on order, with or without colors, the date of delivery is Mid-December. We
apologize for the delay but the tannery that our Vendor was working with, could no longer provide him with the blue
that was chosen. We have been finalizing the color that was voted on by the board and it took a custom dye from
another tannery to match this.

Lastly, Please remind your members that the $85.00 and $95.00 for a plain vest with no colors and the $125.00 and
the $135.00 will only be honored through December 31st. So, if anyone wants one of these vests at this special
price needs to order prior to that. (plus $12.95 shipping of course) This price includes both light and dark blue.  The
prices of the vests beginning on January 1st will go back up to $155.00 plus shipping and handling.

Our prices at that time will increase from the vendor do the leather market which we are told is very unstable right
now.

Thank you,

Bessie
